The correspondence of D.U.'s wife, Harriet (H.U.) can be found in many parts of the D.U. papers since she was actively involved in D.U.'s foreign policy campaigns and dialogue with the Catholic Church. Letters exist in the collection between her and many of the people D.U. was in contact with in his activities. D.U.'s papers contain correspondence of H.U. with people such as Major Poore and S.E.Rolland (S.E.R.) from the Foreign Affairs Committees; Le Play and Defourny in the Catholic Church and Rustem Pacha, the Turkish envoy in Italy.
