Archive Photograph Albums
There are many photograph albums in the College Archives (c.1860-1970), mostly of college sports and societies. Most have been indexed and can be searched by surname or other keyword using the facility below. Loose photographs, of which there are many, are not included; nor are photograph albums in the Modern Personal Papers collections.
Identified individuals can be found by searches based on surnames; society groups by searches based on keywords; sporting groups (the majority) also by keywords, but please make allowance for variable terminology, (thus CLINKER, VIII, EIGHT, IV, COXLESS, TORPID will all find Boat Club crews). Searches are not case sensitive, but spaces are significant.
NB This database is an index; photographs are not available for download. You can request copies from the Archivist.
